Well, summer is here with all its’ glory and if you think you’ll have more time to do things you’re wrong! There’s no homework or school activity but with the kids being home it’s hard to get any work done. If your kids are teenagers like mine, who still don’t drive, then you’re the designated driver for all their outings. But at least we don’t have the pressure of homeworks and tests.

In spite of all the driving I was actually able to make a few of batches of soaps in the last few weeks. I made a batch of lavender and what I call summer melons.

I also made a batch of pine tar soap and a batch of tea tree oil soap.

I’m also going to make a batch of soap colored with herbs or spices to make it a 100% natural loaf. I’ll post the pictures when I’m done.
